Doug Hardy

Doug Hardy is among many original Riversong charter members who shared their musical talents and performances in Saint Joseph in 1975 at what was known as the “ Silver Fiddle Coffee House.” As a precursor to the current music organization known as RMS it brought Southwest Michigan musicians of kindred hearts together. Many of those former Silver Fiddle organizers and performers remain musically active today as supportive and active working members of RMS .

Singers as diverse as Utah Phillips to Neil Young plays a strong influence in Doug’s selections during his performances. His original songs reflect heartfelt themes of home, hope, love and loss. This talented singer/songwriter has performed with the former area popular band known as “Hickory Creek”, comprised of Willey family members and Dan Pavlides. Hardy has appeared solo in Concert for Riversong’s Live at the Box Factory productions and with Bev Hahn and Dan Geib in concert. Proceeds from his live concert CD’s are totally donated to the RMS Good Works committee fund and are only available at the Riversong PR Information table during Riversong sponsored events.
