Mary Czarnecki

RMS Charter staff member and officer Mary Czarnecki actively brings her incredible singing voice, musicianship and songwriting talents to venues, festivals and live concerts in SW Michigan. Mary is a frequent favorite, booked in concert at the Box Factory for the Arts for the "Live Concert" series presented by RMS. She has appeared at the Venetian Festival, the St. Joseph Shadowland July 4th concert, area community music festivals, the Brown Bag concert summer series at the John E.H. Howard band shell (sponsored by St. Joseph Today), GrapeJam Fest at Heart of the Vineyard, and local churches, as well as open mikes and coffee houses.

Mary's expressive, powerful alto voice lets the listener know that the songs she chooses have a message both for her and for those who listen. Her solo appearances and accompaniment of her 6-string guitar leaves her audiences and fan following wanting to hear more. Often appearing as a duo with other singers, she lends a close harmony to their lead. Her incredibly beautiful voice echoes heavy influence of folk music and popular music from the sixties, seventies and eighties, as well as of current acoustic songwriters and her own stylish interpretations. Gospel and contemporary Christian music play a large part in her musical makeup. "There is so much joy in music; in sharing a wonderful song with an audience and especially in playing and singing with other musicians. A song has to have some quality in it-- an interesting story, an intriguing melody, a funny or poignant line-- in order to take it to heart, learn it and then pour it out for others to hear."

Czarnecki can be heard on many RMS produced CD's, available at the RMS information & PR table during concerts.
